Bird Sightings

For the latest sightings in San Antonio, Bexar County, and the surrounding area, nothing beats the SATXbirds group on Yahoo. It's easy and free, and will keep you in touch with hundreds of local birders. The number of messages does not overwhelm, and the members are welcoming.

Index to Selected Bird Reports

Submitted by members of the San Antonio Audubon Society, these reports represent sightings in and around Bexar County, Texas. All records are sent to our Bird Records Committee, even if they do not appear in these abbreviated lists. These lists were originally published in the San Antonio Audubon News, the monthly newsletter of the society.

Please submit YOUR bird reports, by 1) using our easy online Report Form, 2) calling the SAAS telephone answering machine at 210-308-6788 (press "5" to bypass the message and leave your reports), 3) mailing in a report form (available at every meeting or by mail to the club's address), or 4) e-mail to birdreports@saaudubon.org.
